He moved to London, signed with Polydor, and rose to fame in the late 1970s with the Pat Travers Band, known for hits like “Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)” and “Snortin’ Whiskey.” Despite lineup changes and shifting musical styles affecting his commercial success in the 1980s, Travers continued recording and touring, building a loyal fan base. He has remained active for decades, collaborating with various artists, releasing multiple albums, and living in Florida, where he also practices martial arts.
