Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards announced her engagement to soccer star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Edwards, 28, announced the engagement in an Instagram post on Saturday.
“Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said … YES!,” Edwards said, sharing a photograph of the sunset proposal by the Liverpool soccer star. She also showed a photograph of the engagement ring.
Oxlade-Chamberlain shared similar photos on his Instagram account, writing, “Mrs Oxlade-Chamberlain to be!”
The engagement comes nearly a year after the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Axel, in August 2021, E! Online reported.
Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain began dating in 2016, but made their relationship public a year later, according to Capital FM. Edwards was engaged previously to former One Direction member Zayn Malik, People reported.
