A true rock’n’roll icon has passed away at the age of 79. The one and only Dave Mason the English singer-songwriter and session musician shook loose this mortal coil on the 19th of April. It’s hard to overstate not only his influence but his impact. Appearing on Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland as well as forming the band traffic and playing in his own solo band Dave Mason covered all of his bases. He even served as a member of Fleetwood Mac at one point in the 90s. As a session musician he appeared on innumerable records with the likes of George Harrison, The Rolling Stones, Clapton McCartney, Crosby, Nash and the list goes on. Rest in peace Dave Mason.
