If you’re wondering where to plant your lawn chair and gaze skyward for “the big show in the sky”, the City of Jacksonville has you covered with its annual spectacular display over the beautiful St. Johns River.
Seasonably hot with some rain on this Fourth of July, but it's not a washout 🎆 Your neighborhood fireworks forecast + what we're tracking in the tropics

The main event kicks off at 9:00 PM sharp. Don’t be late, or you’ll miss the boom! The fireworks will be launched from a barge on the river, meaning there will be prime viewing spots all along the Downtown riverfront. According to the city’s official events page, you can catch the show from both the Northbank and the Southbank, so you can pick your favorite side of the river to watch the magic happen.
Whether you’re packing a picnic and heading to a spot along the Riverwalk or finding a perch with a view, it’s the classic Jacksonville way to celebrate the Fourth. The city is lighting up the sky, the reflections will be dancing on the water, and the whole downtown area will be buzzing.
So, grab your friends, your family, and maybe some bug spray (let’s be real, it’s July in Florida), and maybe even a poncho or umbrella...and get ready for a classic Fourth of July celebration, DUUUVAL style.
