The magic of Halloween has officially taken over Dairy Queen!
For the first time ever, Dairy Queen is launching a Halloween-themed collection, and it includes a brand-new Blizzard flavor that looks like it came straight out of a spell book.
The Spellbound Series arrives at participating DQ locations beginning September 28 and will be available through November 1.
Meet the Enchanted Oreo Blizzard 🍦
The star of the spooky lineup is the new Enchanted OREO Blizzard Treat.
It combines DQ’s signature soft serve with OREO cookie pieces, a sweet ube-flavored base and an enchanted purple shimmer. The result is a bright purple, Halloween-ready treat that’s definitely designed to stand out.
And if you’re looking for something to wash it down with, DQ is also introducing the Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler. It’s made with blood orange and lemonade, topped with sparkling water and cold foam. DQ says giving it a stir activates the “magic,” causing it to bubble and foam.
There’s Something Spicy, Too 🌶️
The Halloween collection isn’t all sweets.
DQ is adding a new Ghost Pepper Sauce, described as having a fiery, bold and smoky heat. It’s available to pair with the chain’s four-piece Chicken Strip Basket.
You Can Also Collect a DQ Mystery Buddy 👻
For fans who like a little mystery with their meal, DQ is introducing Mystery Blizzard Buddy plush keychains.
The collectible plushies will be available for $4 with a purchase, while supplies last. There are five characters to find: Blizabeth, Flip, Blenda, Brrrnie and Goldie.
But there’s an extra prize hidden in the collection. If you happen to unwrap the rare golden Goldie Blizzard Buddy, you could score Blizzard Treats for an entire year.
The full Spellbound Series will be available at participating U.S. Dairy Queen locations from September 28 through November 1.
