Hear Sophie Lloyd Shred In This Cover Of Skynyrd’s “Freebird”

British guitar phenom, Sophie Lloyd, recently announced her first official live show, which will take place on October 17 at The Camden Assembly in London.

To help promote her first show, Sophie released a YouTube cover of a Lynyrd Skynyrd classic “Freebird”. This isn’t like a lot of the covers you’ve listened to before - Sophie likes to play and release what she calls “Shred Versions” of songs, where the guitar serves as the lead singer, as much as the lead instrument.
