Will Ozzy’s Set At Welcome To Rockville Be One Of His Last?

The full lineup for Welcome to Rockville is now out, and atop the Friday festivities sits the Blizzard of Oz.

You may remember Ozzy Osbourne finished Black Sabbath's farewell tour back in February. Now, he's announced some dates for a farewell solo tour. The official kickoff for the tour is May 5th - the very next performance after Ozzy leaves Jacksonville.

That means if you planned on seeing Ozzy take the stage here in Northeast Florida, chances are this is your last shot!

This doesn't mean he's planning to hang it up anytime soon though - for starters, the world tour is scheduled to launch next May in Mexico, and stretch into 2020!

Even when that's done, Ozzy admits that he'll still perform occasionally, "People keep asking me when I'm retiring. This will be my final world tour, but I can't say I won't do some shows here and there."

There are 22 dates so far, covering Mexico, South America, and Europe. It's unclear when he's hitting North America again. Those dates will be revealed sometime 2018.

For the tour, his backing band will be: Guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos, and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
