‘Bachelorette’ star Kaitlyn Bristowe engaged to Jason Tartick

She will no longer be a bachelorette -- Kaitlyn Bristowe is engaged.

Bristowe announced Monday that she is engaged to Jason Tartick, Entertainment Tonight reported.

The couple got engaged while recording an episode of Bristowe’s podcast, “Off the Vine,” the website reported.

“It was everything I could have asked for,” Bristowe, 35, told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday. “The words that came out of his mouth were insanely beautiful. We’ve never locked eyes like that in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I was listening to his every word, but still blacked out.”

“It was really special.”

Bristowe starred on “The Bachelorette’s” 11th season in 2015, publicly revealed her relationship with Tartick in January 2019, People reported. Tartick also had ties to “The Bachelor” franchise, making it to the final three during the 2018 season, the website reported.

In May 2019, the couple moved in with each other in Nashville, Tennessee, Us Weekly reported.

The couple, who met on Bristowe’s podcast, announced in May 2019 that they were taking their relationship to the next step by moving in together in Nashville with their rescue pup.

“We’re at the next step in our relationship where we want to grow even more and we can’t do that long distance,” Bristowe said on “Off the Vine” at the time. “Cheers to new roommates! I can’t wait to see what things you do that drive me nuts.”

Tartick, 32, was living in Seattle.

“Kaitlyn and I got to a point where being across the entire country didn’t make sense,” Tartick told Entertainment Tonight. “I think that for the short term and the long term, Nashville was the best place for us to be.”

Tartick gave Bristowe a 5.09-carat engagement ring, the website reported. It is from Paris Jewellers, a small Canadian business near Bristowe’s hometown of Leduc in Alberta.

“I had an idea of the kind of cut she wanted, but other than that, it was kind of just, like, go,” Tartick told Entertainment Tonight. “They are great owners and they put so much effort into (making it). They even took designs from Kaitlyn’s dresses, and red carpets, to see what she likes, like working lace in, because she wears a lot of lace. They gave it a Kaitlyn, kind of like an edgy feel, but still classic.”

Bristowe said she loved the ring.

“I love it, it’s perfect. I’ve been staring at it all day,” Bristowe told Entertainment Tonight.
