PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — A 3-year-old who was unsupervised started a house fire in Arizona on Wednesday, authorities said.
Emergency crews were called to a home in Prescott Valley at around 2:12 p.m., KNXV reported. Firefighters were able to quickly put out a fire in one of the bedrooms, the television station reported.
An investigation revealed the fire was started by a 3-year-old who was playing with a lighter, the Prescott Valley Police Department stated in a news release posted on its Facebook page.

“The 3-year-old, along with three other juvenile siblings, were unsupervised at the time,” the department stated in its news release.
Fire crews said no one was injured, KNXV reported.
