Meteors are usually made of the crumbs that fall off a comet as it passes through our gravitational pull - but for the next few weeks there should be enough crumbs in the sky to fill a bakery!
As Earth's orbit intersects with those of two comets this month, stargazers will have a chance to view spectacular double meteor showers.

Both the southern Delta Aquarids and the Alpha Capricornids peak periods will nearly crossover on Tuesday, according the American Meteor Society.
