St. Johns County launches new coronavirus vaccination appointment preregistration system

St. Johns County FL — St. Johns County launched a new coronavirus vaccination appointment preregistration system Monday. The county says once you preregister you’ll receive an automated phone call from 904-295-3711 when vaccination appointments become available. We’re told you’ll be able to accept the appointment, decline the appointment, request removal from the registry or ask for a phone call from a vaccine call center operator. If you decline, you’ll remain preregistered and you’ll get another phone call once appointments are again open. The county says the preregistration system will remain open until 6,000 preregistrations are received, then it will open again once more vaccines are received.

The county says this new system will replace the county’s Eventbrite registration program and only people 65 and older or front-line healthcare workers who need the first dose of the vaccine are eligible to signup.

If you’d like to preregister you can click here.
