Join Us At Hubbard House’s 17th annual Stand Up & Stride Domestic Violence Awareness Walk

March 28th!

Hubbard House’s 17th Annual Stand Up & Stride Domestic Violence Awareness Walk is a family-friendly community event dedicated to celebrating the strength and resilience of local survivors of domestic violence. The walk raises critical awareness and funds to support Hubbard House’s life-saving, life-changing shelter and support services for survivors and their children.

Held on Saturday, March 28th, the event opens at 8 AM with the walk beginning at 9 AM, starting and finishing at the former county courthouse site at 330 E. Bay Street along the river near the Hyatt. Join Tanks team and walk with 96.9 The Eagle or get your own team together --CLICK HERE--

Participation is free, though attendees are encouraged to fundraise to support Hubbard House’s mission, which serves nearly 5,000 local survivors and children each year. Every $75 raised provides one night of shelter and services, and walkers who raise that amount receive a free event t-shirt. Participants can choose between one-mile and three-mile routes that cross the Main Street Bridge and follow the scenic Riverwalk. Event highlights include a Kid Zone with face painting and games, an interactive Impact Zone to share messages of support for survivors, and a fun photo stage with props. Full event details and registration information are available at HubbardHouseWalk.com.
