See who’s coming for Jax’s loudest festival!

Welcome To Rockville returns with 3 days of bone crushing force!

Will the ‘Stones Announce A Show At ‘The Bank’?

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that the Rolling Stones were headed back out on tour in 2019, playing stadiums around North America.

While that information shouldn’t shock anybody, the speculation that Jacksonville will be a location for a tour date should!

The buzz really started earlier this week when hints began popping up all over the country that the band was gearing up to get back out on the road...

So when hints began popping up all over today’s Jags game, some folks were expecting it, while others were shocked.

We’re seeing a few hints around the stadium today to consider:

  1. Jaxson DeVille spotted early in the day wearing a Rolling Stones tshirt
  2. The Roar using multiple ‘Stones tracks for dances this afternoon
  3. A large “Stay Tuned” message teasing something having to do with the Rolling Stones
  4. The iconic Rolling Stones logo was also spotted at the pools inside the stadium

We’re not sure when an official announcement is due out, but we have to imagine that it is days away if the teases are getting this loud and frequent.

The last time the band played Northeast Florida, TIAA Bank Field didn’t even exist. Instead, the Gator Bowl played host to the show.

The second anything official is announced, count on 96.9 The Eagle to bring you the info.

Also don’t forget to download the Eagle app and turn on push notifications so when we do make an announcement, or even give away free tickets to the show, you’ll be the first to hear about it!
