New Business Developer / Multimedia Account Manager - WOKV AM/FM

Job Description:

Cox Media Group Jacksonville is an innovative, fast paced and positive culture of top performing sales professionals that work together to produce results. The New Business Developer/Multimedia Account Manager will be responsible for the sales of WOKV on air inventory and websites, major event sponsorships, and CODAN digital assets.

This position requires a highly motived and committed team player who will maximize and develop profitable new opportunities for both the advertiser and Cox Media Group Jacksonville. As the New Business Developer, you will focus in uncovering customers marketing challenges and developing solutions that will help meet goals and deliver results. Candidate should have a track record of developing new business and have the ability to build influential relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as CMG Jacksonville Product expert to develop, present, close and execute client solutions across CMG Jacksonville’s radio, event and digital assets
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales budget goals
  • Develop, Manage and Grow New Business for CMG Jacksonville, specifically WOKV AM/FM
  • Assess customers/prospect’s needs and recommend most suitable application of products to satisfy stated needs
  • Meet management and/or process defined deadlines
  • Demonstrate focused daily activity

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years Radio Sales or Advertising sales experience
  • Digital sales experience required including Search and Display
  • Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable environment
  • Demonstrated record of success cold calling for new business
  • Superior sales skills including - phone skills, online networking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrable computer knowledge required
