Presented by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning
This is the fifth annual lecture given in honor of Ernest R. Bartley, who taught at the University of Florida in two colleges for almost 50 years.
The lecture series focuses on growth management issues in Florida. Our speakers have included Senator Bill Nelson, former senator and governor Bob Graham, Tom Pelham (former Secretary of the Department of Community Affairs, and Bob Rhodes (growth management expert).
This year's speaker is Dr. Earl M. Starnes, Florida's first director of the Division of Growth Management and former chair of the Urban and Regional Planning Department.
