The Garden Club of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Artists Guild are proud to present “Art in Bloom” a juried show of Art and Floral design with a “Gala in the Garden” to be held this year at The Garden Club of Jacksonville overlooking the beautiful St. Johns River. The show is open on Friday, May 3 from noon-2 pm and Saturday, May 4 from 10am-3pm. Ticket price for the- show only- is $10. The Gala is Friday evening May 3 from 5-8pm. Tickets for the evening event which includes the show are $25 and are sold in advance only. An Opportunity Drawing will also be part of the show with a chance to win Artwork, Sculptures, a lovely Hypertufa Succulent Container Garden, and a behind the scenes tour of the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens. Need not be present to win. Tickets $5 each or 5-$20 The Garden Club will transform into a beautiful Gallery of juried art and floral designs each displayed in a unique setting ranging from traditional to contemporary. This is an opportunity to see some of the best floral designers and artists in our area compete for ribbons and awards. The Gala will be a wonderful evening filled with music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a special viewing of the show. In addition, a juried horticulture section is open to amateur gardeners.
