First Fun Saturday on March 2, 2013 brings a digital photography workshop to Fort King George Historic Site in Darien, Georgia. Participants will learn how to take their SLR and bridge or prosumer cameras off of auto and begin to creatively apply exposure, metering, and white balance settings, as well as learn about focus area, histograms, and principles of sound composition.
Workshop fee is $20 payable to the instructor, Jackie DeBusk, ahead of time or at the door. The presentation begins at 10 a.m. in the theater, includes hands-on activities, and concludes at 4 p.m. after a practice shoot in the park. Workshop is limited to 25; pre-registration is recommended. A portion of the fee goes to the park, so no additional park fees will be taken. Call (912)580-5308 for more information or visit http://gastateparks.org/FortKingGeorge/. $20
