The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences invites you to join us for Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, Adam Putnam's, celebration of "Florida Viva 500.""Florida Viva 500" marks the 500th anniversary of Juan Ponce de León's arrival on Florida's east coast. In celebration, the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences will be holding an event to celebrate the vast and rich Florida history. This event will feature demonstrations and a panel of experts offering immense historical knowledge and insight regarding Florida history. Please join us on Thursday, January 24, 2012 at the Straughn IFAS Extension Professional Development Center. Registration, light refreshments, and demonstrations of Florida history will begin at 5:15 pm with Commissioner Putnam and the panel of experts starting their presentation at 6:00 pm.
