Ripley’s Believe It or Not! St. Augustine will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest wedding vow renewal ceremony on Sunday, February 10. Last year, nearly 700 couples from seven countries re-joined each other in holy matrimony in our multilingual wedding vow renewal ceremony – this year we want to break the record of 1,087 couples!
Registration begins at Ripley’s at 11:00 am and the ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm. Couples will receive a free carnation, a cup of biodegradable confetti to throw after the ceremony, wedding cake and a complimentary romantic train ride down the bay front following the ceremony.
Photographers will be on hand to take photos of the couples and there is no charge to participate in this event. Each couple needs to bring a photo copy of their original wedding certificate and a photo ID. The ceremony will be held in Spanish, English and sign language and one lucky couple will win a free honeymoon package!
