The discussion will be moderated by the Graham Center's Interim Director, David Colburn. The panelists each bring a unique and interesting perspective to this discussion marking the anniversary of the bill that helped create the University of Florida. Panelists: Jean Chalmers, Former Mayor-Commissioner of Gainesville Patricia Hilliard-Nunn, African American Studies Program Madelyn Lockhart, Former Dean of the Graduate School and Dean of International Studies Professor Emerita, Department of Economics Steven Noll, Department of History Paul Ortiz, Director, Samuel Proctor Oral History Program Department of History The event is sponsored by the Department of History and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, co-sponsored by the Bob Graham Center for Public Service, the Center for the Humanities and Public Sphere, and the Center for Women's Studies and Gender Research.
